Chippewa Fire District is a combination fire district with 9 career personnel, 3 part-time and 80 paid-on-call volunteers. Our daily staffing Monday through Friday is the Fire Chief (career), Shift Captains (Career), Firefighter/Paramedics (career), 2 FF/EMT (Part-time or POC EMT – CCEMT-P), Fire Inspector (career), Fleet mechanic/MPO (part-time) and Administrative Assistant. Weekend and Holiday staffing is a Shift Captains (Career), Firefighter/Paramedics (career), 2 FF/EMT (Part-time or POC EMT -CCEMT-P). We relay on our paid on call volunteer to assist on all fire and EMS Calls.
